KATHARINE HA, LCSW
Individual Psychotherapy
I provide telehealth therapy for adults in New York, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii.
ABOUT ME & THIS THERAPY THING
I am a Korean American therapist who grew up in Hawaii and was trained in New York. My background includes working in several organizations that directly address trauma and community and family violence, and my clinical view is shaped through a feminist, anti-racist and disability justice lens.
Having to struggle through emotional pain can have a profound impact on our lives, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and stuck. My approach to therapy is by building a relationship rather than giving out a set of instructions, and to use various methods such as EMDR, somatics, and parts work to assist with our journey in terms of building new ways of approaching things.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore and process your experiences without judgment or pressure. I work with those that would like help with depression, anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and family conflict.
